Copying / Malpractice
If a student indulges in copying or any malpractice in the Continuous Assessment Examinations or in the Term End Examinations of the University, he will not be permitted to write any further examination during that period and all the examinations written in that period (i.e. CAE I or CAE II or Term End Examination) will be deemed to have been cancelled and zero marks will be awarded. The candidate will not be allowed to write the following supplementary examinations too.
The Academic Council decided that if a student is found guilty of any malpractice in any paper during the Term End Examination then the result of all the papers in that Term End Examination would stand cancelled.
However, it is now clarified that if a student is appearing for exams of more than one semester (say, as arrears) during that spell of the Term End Examination , and if he / she is found guilty in any malpractice in any paper then the result of all the papers of that semester only would stand cancelled and the result of the papers in other semester's) would not be affected.
Example : If a student is appearing for 'x' papers of semester-A, 'y' papers of semester-B etc. and if he/she is found guilty of malpractice in any paper of semester- 'A' then the result of all the 'x' papers of Semester-A alone would be cancelled. The result of 'y' papers of semester-B etc. would not be affected.
